Have you ever heard of Cernunnos from Celtic mythology? This is the god of the forest often depicted as a man with deer antlers. Many of my indigenous friends have also compared this painting to the Wendigo or Skinwalker. This forest dwelling man beast haunts the minds of many peoples across the world. Is he a god or a monster in your mind?
